Former British No. 1 Jeremy Bates and current touring pro Jonathan Marray, the 2012 Wimbledon doubles champion, are offering to be your coach for one hour! You’ll be a part of a group of just 12 players.

When: Saturday, 21 February 2016 from 12:30 p.m.
Where: LTA National Tennis Centre Roehampton, 100 Priory Lane, Roehampton SW15 5JQ

James Buddell is auctioning off this prize to the highest bidder. If you’d like to take part, send your bid to James prior to Wednesday, 10 February.

The money will go towards Beckenham LTC’s 2016 fundraising efforts, which includes a skydive and 24-hour tennis marathon, to complement the existing sinking fund. 

Player Bios

Jeremy Bates is a former British No. 1, who ranked a career-high No. 54 in the world in 1995. He won two Grand Slam mixed doubles title at 1987 Wimbledon and the 1991 Australian Open, plus one singles title and three doubles titles. He was Great Britain’s Davis Cup coach and captain from 2000-2006. He also finished runner-up to Guy Forget in the 1994 Beckenham final.

Jonathan Marray partnered Frederik Nielsen to the 2012 Wimbledon doubles title. He rose to a career-high No. 15 in January 2013 and has a 3-4 in ATP World Tour finals and an 18-15 mark in ATP Challenger Tour doubles finals.
