The Summer Pavilion, built in 1896 and Grade II listed by English Heritage in 2013, appears in the book, Played in London, by Simon Inglis.

Published in August 2014, the 360-page book chronicles the history of sport played in London from the 12th century crowds who would gather at Smithfield to watch horse racing and ball games, through to construction of The O2 and the Olympic Stadium in recent years.
