A Handicap Tournament Clash In Turkey!

In a busy period for tournaments play at Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club, you’ve got to be committed if you want to remain in contention for multiple prizes. With strict play-by dates to adhere to, sometimes you have to play when you can!

And so, while a group of tennis members were working on their tans and game on a recent trip to the 12-court Club Med Palmiye in Kemer, Turkey, two committed souls squared off in searing heat for a spot in the Handicap Tournament quarter-finals.

Richard Moore (-0.15) took on Jason Howe (SCR) 6-3, 6-1.  Great stuff!  Just what the Tournament Referee wants to see!

The Handicap Finals Day is on Saturday, 20 June. There will be a barbeque and karaoke in the evening, organised by Lizzie Grumbach.
