Singles

If you are interested in playing singles, you can join the singles league which is open to players of all abilities.

The league is mixed (ladies & gents) and is divided into groups of 4 players. At the start of each round a match fixtures sheet will be circulated to each player listing the 3 matches that they are required to play in their group. The fixtures sheet also indicates which player is responsible for organising which match. Each round of the league lasts for 6 weeks.

Two tie-break sets are played in each match with, if required, a deciding championship tie-breaker set. Match scores are simply written on the fixtures sheet after the match. At the end of the round players are awarded one point for each set they win. The top two players in each group then go up to the next group, and the bottom two go down.
