BECKENHAM LAWN TENNIS CLUB MISSION STATEMENT

Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for children and people of all ages, ethnic origins, backgrounds and abilities to enjoy sport within a safe and welcoming arena.

Our club has adopted all the requirements of the LTA Tennis Clubmark and supports the highest standards of child protection, equality and diversity, codes of practice and health and safety.

Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club will not tolerate harassment, bullying, abuse or victimisation of any individual (which the Beckenham LTC regards as discrimination). This includes sexual or racially based harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal. Beckenham LTC will ensure that such behaviour is met with appropriate action in whatever context it occurs.

Our aim is the continued improvement of our facilities whilst building on already established foundations as a club that can meet the needs and aspirations of the local community and beyond.

Our committee and volunteers fully endorse these aims and values, details of which plus our other activities will always be communicated via our newsletters, notice board and website.
