DESCRIPTION:Our six grass courts will open on  Saturday\, 6 May\, with our traditional curtain-raiser\, the Brian Dodsworth Tournament. \nThe mixed doubles event is open to EVERY adult member. The entry fee is £2 per person. \nEnter as an individual (NOT AS A TEAM) and John Pedevilla will decide on the pairs! \nNO entries will be accepted after Wednesday\, 3 May. \nPlease submit your entry to John Pedevilla. \nParticipants are required to arrive at 1:45 p.m. and be available to play from 2-6 p.m. \nPrizes will be awarded to the leading man and lady. \nTournament format:\n5 or 6 rounds of eight games\, with sudden death on the second deuce;\nOn sudden death\, man serves to man\, woman to woman;\nIn the event of a non-mixed game\, then the receivers choose;\nTea to be served after the tournament. \nBrian Dodsworth was a former chairman of the tennis section. \n#### \nFollowing the Brian Dodsworth Tournament\, from 6pm\, visit the Long Room for the Wimbledon 2017 Tickets Draw. \nIf you opted into the Wimbledon draw by late February 2017\, and are a member of Beckenham LTC\, you’ll be in the running for tickets to The Championships\, Wimbledon. \n
