SUMMARY:Main Clubhouse Refurbishment
DESCRIPTION:The bar in the main clubhouse at Beckenham Cricket Club will be refurbished over the Christmas and New Year period. As a result the clubhouse will be closed from Monday\, 28 December 2015 and will re-open on Thursday\, 14 January 2016. \nThe refurbishment includes the lobby area\, main bar\, trophy bar and the bar toilets. There will\, therefore\, be no access to the clubhouse during the period due to the scale of work and health and safety concerns. The changing rooms will unfortunately be out of action. We apologise for the inconvenience and break in their use but feel sure that you will enjoy the new bar and facilities. \nThe Club hopes to continue its refurbishment work over the next 12 months to include improvements in the changing rooms and Long Room. \n  \nHow Do I Buy Tennis Floodlight Tokens? \nIf you would like to play tennis under the floodlights during the clubhouse closure\, please visit the Club prior to 28 December 2015 in order to purchase your tokens. Alternatively\, you can get in touch with Sue Buddell to purchase your floodlight tokens (£6 each). \nNo tennis under floodlights is permitted on Monday\, 28 December 2015\, Friday\, 1 January 2016 or on Sundays. \n

DESCRIPTION:Blow off the cobwebs in the new year with our doubles tournament\, beginning 2 p.m. on Saturday\, 9 January 2016. \nOpen to EVERY adult member. The entry fee is £2 per person. \nEnter as an individual (NOT AS A TEAM)! \nNO entries will be accepted after Wednesday\, 6 January 2016. \nParticipants are required to arrive at 1:45 p.m. and be available to play from 2-5 p.m. \nPrizes will be awarded to the leading man and lady. \n  \n
