Beckenham Tennis Club runs four informal and social club play sessions a week.
Sessions are normally organised by one of our two professional coaches, so you are sure to get games at the right standard for you. There is a small charge for the Wednesday and Saturday club sessions to cover the cost of the new balls provided, and when necessary, the use of the floodlights.
In the summer, tea and cakes are provided in the old pavilion during the Saturday club sessions, and in the cooler months, toast and tea cakes are available. Teas are run by the members and a tea rota is published in January (see below) so that no member has to do it more than once.
The tea rota for 2008 is available below. If you cannot make your allotted date, please arrange for someone else to take your place, but remember to amend the master copy on the tennis notice board.
Saturday tea will be sandwiches and cakes. Usually about two loaves of bread and two to three cakes are adequate - depending on the weather. Teabags, sugar, coffee etc. are provided but please bring milk with you. Tea is served at approximately 4.00pm. If you have any queries please ask a Committee Member.
